where would you like me to sit?

If you are hosting Thanksgiving dinner, this question can be answered by the use of placecards. Perhaps you can enlist the help of a small child to make the cards for you. This set was made by this little angel, my niece Mandy, seen here playing with baby Jay. Ernie is resting on the sofa.

Oh my, these things are certainly more precious when your little blonde girl is the mama of a child as old as she was in this picture. Weren't they just adorable?

Indeed , they were. And still are.

Those are some incredible eyebrows my placecard sports. You can see the progression: Mandy must have started with mine, then maybe Mona's or her own, then by the time she got to Barbara's seems she'd run out of steam. Weren't there any other diners that Thanksgiving day?

Actually I think they were made for a summer lunch and Mandy came up with the idea herself. There may have only been 4 people dining. My memory isn't serving well enough to remember if there were more diners.
